Good design is not an accident. Rather it's a well-thought process that combines proportion, balance, color, texture and composition, executed by an experienced and trained artisan. It's not about having a "knack" for design. It's about combining formal training and proven design principles with artistic ability honed through years of study and practice.

Roselly Davies began Maya Davies jewelry as a way to integrate her design and artistic skills in personal creations that can be enjoyed time and again by generation after generation.

A mother, portrait artist, flamenco dancer, NCIDQ certified interior designer and former architect with a bachelor's degree in architecture and a master of fine arts degree from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Roselly bridges cultures and continents with jewelry that's distinctive, beautiful and designed to last for years.

A message from Roselly:

Even though the perfect piece of jewelry can help anyone look their best, it's even more important to be beautiful on the inside.

That's why I want my customers to know that when they buy a piece of my jewelry, they're helping make the world a little better place.

Two percent of our sales are donated to charities that help children in the US & Asia. In addition, I carefully select the suppliers of my gemstones and sterling silver components/jewelry, seeking those that adhere to fair wage practices and avoiding, when possible, those from oppressive countries.

Because, after all, it's nice when jewelry sparkles, but it's even better when people shine.
